FOUNDATION
The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Senapati, Manipur is one of the IIITs being established under PPP Model of MHRD. It started its first academic session in the year 2015 under the mentorship and governship of IIT Guwahati.
STUDENT LIFE
The student life at IIIT Manipur is like a dream come true. With the beauty of nature, there are many things one can enjoy and learn. The students have active technical and cultural councils which aim at providing all sorts of knowledge and opportunities to its members.
Computer Science and Engineering
IIIT Manipur offers B.Tech as well as Ph.D courses in this department. The management is planning to offer M.Tech courses in the near future.

NEWS & UPDATES
Faculty Development Program
The Electronics and Communication Engineering Deprtment of IIIT Manipur conducted a 5-day Faculty Development Program on VLSI and MEMS Design between 10-14 February. Students as well as the faculty members took part in the Program.
Completion of Global Game Jam 2020
IIIT Manipur was selected as one of the centeres for the Global Game Jam 2020 in the North East which completed successfully on 2nd February. The students participated actively in this 3-day Game Jam and developed various games including 2D, 3D and VR games. Some students from other institutes also joined this Game Jam.
Workshop on CoDA
TEQIP-III sponsored International Workshop on Collaborative Digital Archiving (CoDA) for Languages in Manipur, February 01-05 2020 conducted under the supervision of Prof. Leihaoramban Sarbajit Singh along with the other faculty members.
Republic Day Celebration
IIIT Manipur celebrated the Republic Day starting with the flag hoisting along with the citation of the National Anthem followed by the addressal of the Interim Director Prof. Amrendra Kumar Das to the students. The cultural and EBSB club conducted several events which include the Essay Writing Competition, Singing Competition, Drama and Quiz.
